What to Expect:
In Byberry, it's not all ghosts and hobos! Read on:
1. Dark - It is pitch black in there, even in the day time.
2. Smell - It reeks in there. Imagine: sewer, burnt wood, and fungus mixed together. Mmmm..
3. Noise - The place is falling apart. It's not uncommon to hear things falling down, falling apart, echoing.. If it's windy, you're gonna hear trash scraping along the ground. If it's raining, you're gonna hear drips EVERYWHERE. And if it's thundering, well.. it's loud.
4. People - Yes, there are probably going to be other people in there with you. Other explorers, like yourself. I haven't seen a homeless person in 5 years. 'nuff said.
5. BANG! - Some people like to break things and make noise. Expect to hear loud bangs, especially on the weekends at night.
6. Security - Surprisingly, YES. They actually DO drive around.. sometimes. It's a white pick up truck, unmarked. They won't bother you if you don't bother them. Got it?
7. Cops - This, too, it not unusual. Sometimes they drive around with their flashers on, sometimes they don't even have their head lights on. My advice? Don't mess with 'em. They can be nasty little buggers.
What to Bring:
Cause flashlights just aren't enough..
1. Batteries - you never know when your's are gonna run out.
2. Food/Drink - if you're gonna be in there for hours.. why not? If you forget, Wawa LOVES the buisness us Byberrians give them.
3. Hoodie/Jacket - even on summer nights in August, it gets chilly on those rooftops.. plus the catacombs feel like A/C, so a hoodie's not a bad idea.
